For example when you switched your internet provider or when your central heating boiler was serviced. Guidion is mainly active in the Telecom and Energy sectors. We do this on behalf of big brands like VodafoneZiggo, T-Mobile and Comfort Partners. In addition, we are continuously innovating our services based on trends and wishes. For example, we visit customers to help smart home equipment function optimally or offer them remote assistance. How do we do this? By making the entire customer journey as fun and easy as possible for consumers, in our own unique way. Our mechanics, or as we call them experts, play a major role in this. Thanks to these passionate, skilled experts (self-employed), we make about 1 million people happy every year with our services. And we are proud of that!

This is the role

As Information Security Officer at Guidion in Amsterdam, you are the point of contact for information security. This includes things like the ISO 27001 and 9001 certifications, the ISMS and the technical improvements within Guidion. You maintain relationships with our external security partners Defensed and L2P. You report directly to the CTO. It is important that you increase security awareness and posture and that you get our employees on board. In addition, you provide support for the technical development of CI/CD with regard to security for the development teams.

You are responsible for:

• Improvements of security posture in technical, but also less technical teams of Guidion, such as the Service Desk;
• Maintain and implement ISMS;
• Implementation and Reporting on our Security Awareness Platform Knowbe4.

This is you
You as an information security officer at Guidion in Amsterdam will have a new role within the organization. This makes it important that you are self-starting and enterprising. Guidion is an organization where we try to work "policy-light", which of course provides an interesting interface with regard to security. You understand this, and know how to bring security in a way that suits the Guidion organization. You are known in the field of security and have extensive experience in a similar role. You enjoy getting the organization on board on this topic, and you also have the technical skill set and background. Furthermore, you have analytical skills, you can prioritize well and make decisions easily. Of course, you also know when to escalate matters. These are characteristics that suit you.

In addition, you have:

• Bachelor/master degree;
• 3+ years of work experience in a similar role;
• A technical background and the need to delve into the policy/process side of this profession.
